Elizabeth Valkevich joined The JLS Agency in August of 2009 and continues to strive to help clients meet their goals.

Elizabeth studied Journalism and Art History at Penn State University. She began her career as an Office Administrator at ReMax Centre Realty in 2008. Here she learned how to manage working in a fast paced work environment, while still keeping clients satisfied.

At The JLS Agency, Elizabeth enjoys staying busy meeting with clients to review the successes of their campaigns and projects. She also aids the creative process by working internally with the JLS team to see where projects stand.

Elizabeth's knowledge in search engine marketing helps clients to meet their needs on a daily basis.

"Providing analytic reports to show clients how each campaign is producing results is quite rewarding, it allows for us to show that JLS really does produce a great return on investment for every client."

Shawn Borton joined The JLS Agency in 2010 and continues to serve our clients with cutting edge web design, graphic design, video editing, animation, photography, virtual tours, project management and concept development.

Shawn earned a BS in Marketing at The Pennsylvania State University in 2009, and has recently returned from Florence, Italy where he earned his Masters in Graphic Design. He has been making websites for over 10 years. He also enjoys and is proficient in illustration, typography, and 3D design.

"I enjoy my role as a Creative Director at The JLS Agency because it affords me the ability to work in a very multifaceted environment. Whether it's designing an identity, programming a website, or traveling to a photo shoot, I'm fortunate to be in a position where things stay fresh."

His obsessions outside of work that define him are soccer, design culture, travel, brewing beer, being an amateur foodist and music.

Kathy is our Accountant here at JLS, she joined the team in July 2010. She is originally from Seattle and has her Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with concentrations in HR and Marketing from the University of Washington. After being the CFO of her family for a few years, she enrolled at Penn State where she completed accounting courses required to be eligible for the CPA Exam.

Kathy is very detailed and organized in maintaining our clients financial accounts and she also brings a fantastic energy to our team that everyone appreciates.

"While working at the Seattle location of Landor Associates, a branding and marketing firm, I realized I loved working in the advertising industry. I had the best of both worlds – accounting and branding/marketing. Employment with the JLS Agency again provides me the same opportunity to be a part of the creative world of an agency environment while using my knowledge and experience to keep the agency focused on achieving its financial goals. Given the diverse and creative nature of our work I am never bored in my role and enjoy it immensely."

Additionally, Kathy is called Mom by 3 amazing people; Sydnie, Alec, and Noah. In her other free time outside being called Mom and time spent at JLS, she is an avid runner.

Austin joined the JLS Agency in January 2009 as a graphic designer. Prior to joining JLS Austin studied graphic design at the South Hills School of Business & Technology where he graduated with highest honors. Previously he interned at Penn State University and also worked at Jostens.

Austin is always thinking of new and creative design solutions to keep our clients satisfied.

"I love that I get to have an important role here at JLS as a graphic designer and I enjoy having to step up to the plate and challenge my design skills and watch them grow and develop. My favorite part of the job is seeing when clients are pleased and excited about the work I produce for them."
